Food Hub.
Our fantastic food hub began during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to give back to our community during a difficult and uncertain time. what started as an emergency response quickly became a vital source of support for many local families and individuals. Although we officially opened for collection or deliveries once a week, the work behind the scenes continued seven days a week. from collecting donations and sorting food to organising deliveries and supporting those in need, our dedicated team of volunteers worked tirelessly to keep the hub running smoothly. For the past six years, our amazing team has given their time, energy, and compassion completely voluntarily, helping to ensure that no one in our community feels forgotten or unsupported due to the high cost of living.
We have also been incredibly fortunate to receive support from Morrisons, Co-Op, National Lottery, Felix project and FareShare, whose generosity has helped us continue and grow our work. Their contributions, alongside the kindness of our volunteers and supporters, have made a real difference to countless lives.
Our Food Hub is built on community spirit, kindness, and the belief that together we can support one another though both challenging and better times.

Funding
One of the most important projects we have delivered has been the Food Hub which was set up in March 2020. During the Covid-19 pandemic, many families and individuals faced unexpected challenges, and we were determined to help wherever we could. Thanks to funding and support, the Food Hub became a vital lifeline for many local people. It allowed us to provide food, essentials, and practical support during a very difficult time. The funding we received from The National Lottery, Southwark Council, Tesco's throughout Covid-19 not only helped us respond to the immediate crisis but also gave us the opportunity to plan for the future. It enabled us to strengthen our services, continue supporting vulnerable residents, families, and ensure the community centre could keep moving forward with confidence.

We are also thankful to Citizens Advice for assisting people with form filling and ensuring they receive the correct entitlements during the ongoing cost of living crisis.

We were also donated a Bleed control mobile Kit from Let the youth live charity, we are also proud to work in partnership with the Fuel Bank, who continue to work tirelessly to tackle fuel poverty.
We were also incredibly grateful to receive a generous donation of books from London Children's Book Project, who kindly supported families during the COVID-19 pandemic by providing books to those in need.
